Alex D. Graham, Jr., CCIM, serves as a senior advisor with Sperry Van Ness Commercial Properties, LLC specializing in income-producing real estate including multifamily, sale leaseback transactions, and 1031 Exchanges in South and North Carolina.
For over 30 years, Graham has been licensed as a real estate Broker by the state of South Carolina. During that time, he has been responsible for over 100 key transactions including three of Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Top Closed Commercial Real Estate Transactions in 2000. In 2006, he was chosen as a Commercial Realtor of Distinction of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors (CTAR).
He received the prestigious professional CCIM designation in 1996 and served as president of the CCIM South Carolina Chapter in 2004. In 2006 he served as the CCIM Vice President of a five-southern-state region and was on the Board of Directors of the International CCIM Institute. In addition, he is a past president of the Commercial Investment Division of CTAR. Mr. Graham graduated from the Mendenhall School of Auctioneering and is a licensed auctioneer in South Carolina. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the National Auctioneer Association, Realtors Land Institute and the National Multi Family Council.
Graham is also an involved community member. In 1996, he was awarded the “Division Governor of the Year” for exemplary leadership and service by Toastmasters International. He serves on the Board of Visitors of the Charleston Southern University and is active in his church.
Graham earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from The Citadel and served his country as an officer of the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He is the owner of Sperry Van Ness/Commercial Properties LLC in the Charleston, South Carolina market.
